Mid-way through its pre-launch initiative of showcasing the latest sub-4 metre sedan at shopping malls across the country, Ford India has rolled out ‘Job 1′ of the car from its brand new Sanand facility.

Ford Figo Aspire is expected to join the compact sedan party in August to take advantage of the festive season. It is the first car to be produced by the automaker’s new Sanand facility which was inaugurated in March this year.

Figo Aspire sedan will be closely followed by hatchback variant.

Certain dealers have reportedly started accepting unofficial bookings for Figo Aspire. Previewed by Figo sedan concept at Auto Expo 2012, Aspire sedan is essentially a booted version of next gen for Figo hatchback which will go on sale here later this year.

Apart from a stubby boot, the sub-4 metre sedan is distinguished from its hatchback sibling by means of different interior color theme. While the former sports premium looking dual-tone black-beige color theme, the latter opts for sporty all black appointments.
