Ford EcoSport arrives at the 34th Bangkok Motor Show
Ford EcoSport, powered by their all new EcoBoost engine was shown at the 34th Bangkok International Motor Show earlier today. 2013 Bangkok Motor Show will open for public from 27th March to 7th April 2013, whereas today and tomorrow are media and dealer days.
Apart from giving their customers a look at the all new EcoSport, Ford will also give them a dream journey with the EcoSport with the help of a new photographic system.
Customers will also be able to experience the all new Ford SYNC app which is developed by Microsoft. SYNC will allow EcoSport owners to control their smartphone with voice command while driving.
This is the first time that Ford has revealed the EcoSport in ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) region, which consists of the following countries - Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam.
“This sporty, compact SUV will not only allow Ford to enter another new segment in ASEAN, it will help to define a whole new vehicle segment for the ASEAN region,” said Matt Bradley, president, Ford ASEAN. “The EcoSport is an urban SUV that blends the flexibility and spaciousness of an SUV with the agility, affordability and fuel efficiency of a compact car.”
Ford Thailand will be manufacturing the EcoSport at their all new state of the art facility worth $450 million in Rayong. The images here are from the 2013 Bangkok International Motor Show currently taking place in Impact, Muang Thong Thani.
