Ford EcoSport petrol waiting period reaches six months: Will you wait?
Recall or no recall, the booking list for the Ford EcoSport gets longer by the day. The company has been receiving overwhelming response to their new SUV, which comes with an affordable price tag of INR 5.59 lakhs. Ford India has already received 30k+ bookings for EcoSport in just 17 days, and this number is fast increasing as wait period is now at a minimum of six months.
Surprisingly, it is the petrol EcoSport model that has been in demand, as all petrol variants now come with a wait period of 180 days, while waiting period for 1.0 liter EcoBoost EcoSport is at 90 to 150 days. Only those opting for the base diesel models such as Ambient and Trend will be able to get deliveries within 1-3 months from booking dates. Wait period for EcoSport Diesel Titanium and Titanium (O) too has reached 180 days.

The recent EcoSport diesel recall seems to have had no effect on the bookings. Coming in with the SUV tag and an unmatched price, is what has pushed the EcoSport (drive review) to such high demand. Now the question is, will the customers be willing to wait for 6 months? Will you?
