The all-new Ford Figo, a modified hatchback version of its sedan Fiesta was launched yesterday in India .This car will also be exported to South Africa as has been decided before.

The new car is splendid in the looks department and Ford motors have made a huge investment of 500 million USD for doubling annual capacity of production to 200,000 units from its facility in Chennai. This step has made the new facility a regional center for small car engineering and production.

This manufacturing facility will produce both petrol, as well as diesel variants of its new vehicle, which will be exported to the Asia pacific and the Africa.
