Ford Mustang US Air Force Thunderbirds Edition is one of a kind (13 Photos)
Ford has introduced a unique U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Edition 2014 Ford Mustang GT to draw attention to the 60th anniversary of US Air Force Thunderbirds. This model bears the same design elements as those seen F-16 Falcon aircraft and is painted in the same color combinations of red, white and blue seen on the actual planes.
This outstanding model of Ford Mustang GT will be auctioned at the EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on August 1, 2013, with all proceeds being donated to the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Young Eagles Program which is actively involved in offering free introductory flights to aspiring young pilots.
Besides incorporating the same colors, the one of a kind Mustang GT will possess a specially designed belly pan from Creations n’ Chrome to resemble that seen on the F-16 fighter. Forgiato, wheel manufacturers have designed a special set of wheels while TS Designs who have designed front and rear body elements.
