Auto companies have for long been concentrating their attention on the Chinese car market, which is obvious considering the large scale demand coupled with rising demand for luxury vehicles that in many cases is bough without financing. Ford is planning on bringing four new vehicles at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show, of which three will be SUVs.

The company has not revealed any further details besides the fact that three of the soon to be launched vehicles will be SUVs while one of the models is in all probability likely to be Kuga for the Chinese auto market. There is also speculation that one model might be a Focus which will be produced at the CFMA Chongqing 2 Assembly plant. It is expected that this vehicle will feature the improved SYNC connectivity system which understands Mandarin.

Ford has major plans afoot for China where they are also working on bringing in more green and smart technology vehicles into the country from their state of the art manufacturing facilities located at Chongqing. The Chinese auto industry remains a growth market it is this that Ford is banking on to ensure that they lay the foundation for long term growth within the country.

Ford hopes to increase their worldwide sales by 50% by mid decade to about 8 million vehicles per annum. The four new vehicles that are expected to be launched are part of Ford plan to launch 15 new vehicles in China by 2015.
