Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing director of Raymond limited went through with Indiaâ€™s first Ferrari 458 challenge at the Buddh International Circuit. He created a record when he completed the 5.1 km lap in 1 minute 59 seconds beating his previous record of 2 min 1 sec. Apart from this record, he also took great pleasure in completing 98 laps on Monday and 109+ laps on Tuesday.
Considering a lap distance of 5.1 km, he drove an average 500 km a day at the Buddh International Circuit. Mr. Gautam Singhania is an ardent supercar and racing fan and is the Founding Chairman of the Super Car Club. Heâ€™s of the opinion that such track events will help attract budding talent and thereby improve the scenario of motorsports in India.
Heâ€™s instrumental with hosting the Parx Super Car Show that has been held in Mumbai since the past 5 years. He also took part in the All Stars European Drift Championship where he won by a difference of 2.5 points. During the event Mr. Gautam Singhania drove a modified Nissan Sylvia S13 which is Indiaâ€™s first drifting car.
