General Motors India launch Chevrolet Spark in petrol and LPG options

General Motors India has launched their new Chevrolet Spark in the small and compact car segment. This sporty and attractive vehicle is being offered both with petrol and LPG engines and possesses a host of up to date exterior and interior features. These are sure to attract customers in the young and adventurous category specially considering its attractive pricing. Chevrolet Spark is available in five variants and the base CNG model starts at Rs.3.71 lakhs while the LT model will cost Rs.3.99 lakhs.

General Motors have restyled the Spark. A new corporate grill with a prominent logo, restyled headlights and improved dual tone front and rear bumpers are seen on the exterior. Sporty fog lights with chrome accents and elegant looking rear reflectors add to enhanced looks of the new Spark which is available in a choice of six colors – Velvet Red, Caviar Black, Linen Beige, Sandrift Grey, Summit White and Misty Lake.

Interiors remain more or less the same with Dark Urban on dashboard and light urban colors on doors and seats. Well designed speedometer and instruments panel on dashboard offers a combination of digital and analogue displays. The new Spark has a spacious cabin and extra storage space in its hold and is fitted with a 1.0 liter four cylinder petrol engine offering 63 PS power t 5400 rpm and 90.3 Nm torque at 4200 rpm. The LPG variants are fitted with sequential injection type LPG kits which result in fuel economy, low running costs and lower emissions. Spark comes with a three year / 100,000 kms warranty.
