General Motors India free pick up and drop to Chevrolet service centres for vehicles registered by women

In celebration of International Woman’s Day on March 8, 2013, General Motors has decided to do something exclusively for their woman customers. The company has announced free vehicle pick up and drop facility to service centers for vehicles registered by women customers. This facility is being extended for all vehicles which are registered in the woman’s name and will be suitable for all regular service and maintenance work at any of the Chevrolet service centers.

This special service is in honor of women and their importance in society and their endeavor in the building up of the economy. The initiative is also recognition on the part of Chevrolet to enhance ownership of lady customers in India.

This is not the first such activity by General Motors India. The auto majors have also carried out various activities such as renovating and repairing of houses for the economically backward. They have been instrumental in road safety awareness schemes, AIDS awareness drives and other community development programs in and around the vicinity of their plants at Halol, Talegaon and at their technical Center in Bangalore.
