250 Harley-Davidson motorcycles partake in 2nd Northern H.O.G Ride
2nd Northern HOG Ride took a total of 250+ Harley Davidson riders through the picturesque hills of Himachal Pradesh. This winter riding season start saw each of these bikers tackle the mountains of Himachal Pradesh, which was slated to be the biggest zonal ride in North India being hosted by Harley Davidson in India.
Riders from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Indore and Kochi all made their way to the mountains for the ride held from October 18-20, 2013. True to tradition, the three day event was solely for Harley Davidson owners with live bands in attendance and the latest of Harley merchandise on sale. A tattoo parlor, tech shop and other activities were also planned for the riders along the journey while a contest was held for the best customized bike at the rally.
A sense of camaraderie and brotherhood was evident among riders who set off from Delhi on the 18th morning. They had a short stop at Himalayan Harley Davidson in Chandigarh from where they were flagged off for the second leg of their journey. The 250 strong group of Harley bikers reached Chail on 20th morning thus transforming this sleepy hill station into a biker’s paradise.
