Miyagi is the same place which was completely destroyed during last year’s Tsunami. At least 11,000 people were reported missing or dead. The Harley Davidson motorcycle in question here, floated all the way from Japan to Canada, covering a distance of 5,000 kms, without sinking.
Though the motorcycle has corroded, but is still in a very good shape and can be restored. Reportedly, Harley Davidson now plans to ship the motorcycle back to its owner, Mr Yokoyama in Japan, free of cost! Where it will be restored to its original condition.
Though Mr Yokoyama survived the Tsunami, he has lost his house and three of his family members. He is currently living in a temporary shelter provided by the government of Japan. It will be more than perfect, if Harley Davidson can restore the motorcycle and gift it to Mr Yokoyama in Japan.
