Harley-Davidson Street 750 17th Jan unveil at 2014 India Bike Week
H.O.G members across India are leaving their cities to participate in the 2nd India H.O.G Rally. On 17th January 2014, Harley-Davidson India will unveil one of the most awaited motorcycles of the year, the all new Harley-Davidson Street 750™ at India Bike Week in Goa.
The new Street 750, developed for the new age urban consumer is ideal to handle urban environment while retaining the tough quality of a Harley-Davidson. Designed to impress, the new Harley-Davidson 750 is one motorcycle you’ll surely be proud to park on your curb!
Harley-Davidson Street 750 will first be shown to H.O.G’s on the 16th. Alongwith 750, Harley-Davidson Street 500 will be manufactured at the Bawal plant, Haryana soon after their Delhi Auto Expo showcase. While the 500 will be produced for the export market, Harley-Davidson Street 750 will be sold in India with deliveries beginning in June 2014. Earlier it was thought 750 deliveries would begin later in 2014 but bringing it in earlier helps Harley in ‘filling a void’ here, and stay ahead of competition in the larger picture.
Street production lines at Kansas City, Missouri and Bawal in Haryana will be capable of an output of 7000-10,000 annually. No details about localisation in India are as yet available. At IBW, Frank Savage, the mind behind Street 750 will eb present.
