Harley Owners Groups partake in Independence Day Freedom Ride across India
Independence Day saw India wake up to Harley owners across the country ride together in celebration of freedom, and brotherhood. Independent rides were organized by local H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) chapters.
Nine Bridges Chapter, the Harley Owners Group from Ahmedabad celebrated, and supported a noble cause. Riding from the Harley-Davidson dealership in Ahmedabad to Mahatma Gandhi’s birth place in Porbandar, a donation was made to an old age home. Chandigarh H.O.G’s rode together to the Wagah border in saluting the country’s heroes, and celebrated with jawans.
Spice Coast Chapter H.O.G’s in Kerala rode to Karuna to spend the day with Nilayam Old Age Home residents. Coromandel Chapter HOGS participated in a fundraiser ride to Gurkukan School for the under privileged. Bengal Chapter HOGS rode from Kolkata to Bhubaneswar. Seven Islands Chapter Mumbai, Captial Chapter Delhi, Tusker Chapter Bengaluru and Banjara Chapter Hyderabad too organised HOG rides to commemorate India’s 67th Independence day.
