KTM, the Austrian motorcycle maker, unveiled the RC range of their naked bikes, Duke 125, Duke 200, and Duke 200 back at the Milan Motorcycle Show. Now, Bajaj Auto, who has 47% stake in the brand, is expected to display these fully-faired KTMs at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. But, before that, you can have a closer look at these bike, thanks to DERESTRICTED.
The new RC range of superbikes from KTM are expected to be launched in India later this year. The one’s that will be launched in India, will be the RC200 and the RC390. The updates/changes as compared to the naked Duke’s, RC’s feature dual headlights, fully faired front, new LED taillamps, better weight management and more aerodynamic, and track riding features. The engine, tyres, and frame are the same for both Duke and RC.
RC390 delivers 43 bhp, RC200 25 bhp and RC125 15 hp. Though the power output is same, the RC series has a better top speed due to its design. Front windshield, smaller fuel tank, and new light-weight seats all help the RC to achieve a better performance as compared to the Duke’s. Price is not revealed yet for India, but expect the RC’s to be expensive by Rs 25-40k. (Images via)
