This 1244 hp supercar was put to the test by Guinness World Records Team and VBox officials, making the vehicle perform two runs in opposite directions in a span of one hour.
This was recorded on the VBox 3i GPS based data logging system at Ellington Airport in south east Houston, Texas. On test, the Lotus Elise based model fitted with Corvette ZR1 6.2 liter V8 LS9 engines completed the task in a matter of 13.18 seconds with a 4 mph tailwind. The second test saw the vehicle make a 14.08 second 6 mph headwind run. This prestigious record was earlier held by Koenigsegg Agera R that required 17.68 seconds time while the 1200 hp Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is capable of completing the same task in 22.2 seconds or 7.7 seconds slower than Venom GT.
