Hero MotorCorp has entered into an agreement with Erik Buell Racing of North America where sharing of technology sourcing is concerned.  Erik Buell Racing is founded by Erik Buell, a former engineer with Harley Davidson who has gone on to start his own motorcycle firm which was later taken over by Harley Davidson. After the company shut down a few years later Erik Buell has been known for Buell range of motorcycles under Erik Buell Racing.

Now together with Hero MotoCorp, new range of motorcycle technology will be adopted which will not just see higher capacities but also the use of advanced technology. This first product will be ready for launch early next year.

Hero MotoCorp will also enter the 2012 AMA Motorcycle Racing Championships where this new technology will be seen on EBR1190RS motorcycles but under the Hero MotoCorp banner. This new partnership comes at a time when Hero has just closed their long term relationship and partnership of 26 years with Honda of Japan.
