Hero MotoCorp expands operations to Peru
Two wheeler manufacturers Hero MotoCorp have announced a range of products to be launched in Peru. Besides these seven new models and extensive expansion plans in the region, the company has as many as 85 dealer outlets in the country with additional ones being planned in the future
Seven models which include Pleasure, Passion, Pro, Glamour, Hunk, Thriller, Karizma ZMR and Karizma R are launched in Peru where the company competes with Indian manufacturers such as Bajaj and TVS Motors besides Japanese competitors including Honda and Yamaha.
Present in the country through its motto â€œ Hum Main Hai Hero, the company has also launched a Spanish version on both TV and through print media to appeal to the heart and minds of the Peruvians. The company has extensive plans for expansion throughout Latin America as they plan a full fledged manufacturing unit in Colombia by mid 2014 to add to their extensive operations in countries such as Guatemala, El Salvador and the Honduras.
