Hero Splendor Cafe Racer and SimplEcity Electric motorcycle: Auto Expo
Drawing further attention to their future models, Hero MotoCorp showcased two very exclusive models at the 2014 Auto Expo. Hero Splendor Pro Classic gets refreshed with retro styling so as to make it look like a café racer while Hero SimplEcity possesses an electric, light body option for best performance in city conditions.
Hero Splendor Pro Classic Cafe Racer is based on the Splendor Pro. It receives a 100cc air cooled, four stroke engine offering 7.7 bhp peak power and 8.04 Nm peak torque mated to a four speed gearbox. It is seen at the 2014 Auto Expo with rounded headlights and tail lights, chrome accents on fenders, indicators and rear suspension all of which will combine to endear the Hero Splendor Pro Classic to the masses.
Hero SimplEcity Electric motorcycle comes in with a light weight body and performance upgrades and an all electric set up. Its electric engine generates 4 kW peak power and is powered by a lightweight lithium ion battery.
Hero MotoCorp has given the bike Hero SimplEcity app mounted on the handlebars, hydraulic telescopic forms in front and adjustable shock absorbers at the rear.
