1st HOG registers for India Bike Week 2014. Ticket sales and Chai and Pakoda Ride
At the ongoing, 2nd Southern HOG Ride, Siddhaarth Oberoi from Capital Chapter became the first HOG and the first person to register for the upcoming 2nd National HOG Rally and India Bike Week. SEVENTY Event Media Group, together with FOX Traveller announced the 2nd India Bike Week (IBW) this week.
Modelled on the ‘Sturgis Motorcycle rally’, India Bike Week rallies to be the country’s largest biker gathering.
India’s Biker brotherhood embrace Café Racers, Scramblers, Cruisers, and Superbikers. Next year looks to bring together over 10,000 fans. 2013 IBW saw 6,547 bike enthusiasts in attendance with 3,000 bikers riding into town.
2013 featured the Y2K, and a slew of entertainment options. Ticket sales began on 27th September. Available at a price of Rs. 3,000, an Early Bird discount of 10% is on offer until October 31st, and the first 1,500 buyers will receive a complimentary IBW T shirt. Tickets are available online, and at Harley-Davidson showrooms across the country from October 1. The 2nd National HOG Rally (only for Harley-Davidson owners and family members) is scheduled for on 16th Jan. The site ticket type prices reflected at the moment are Male (Early Bird) (Rs. 2,700), and Female (Rs. 2,500).
This morning, a few hundred bikers gathered at Hotel Fountain for the Chai and Pakoda Ride, which ended at Hotel Ahura. The morning ride spanned 82kms was an India Bike Week initiative.
