Revealed: Honda Activa 125 ex-showroom, and on-road launch price across India
Showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, Honda has finally launched the 125cc variant of their flagship automatic scooter, Activa. Launch price of new Honda Activa 125 for all Indian cities have been revealed. In Pune, the ex-showroom price of Honda Activa 125 starts at Rs 54,559 for the Standard variant and Rs 60,277 for the Deluxe (Disc Brake & Alloy wheels) variant.
On-road price in Pune for new Activa 125 stands at Rs 59,955 for standard variant and Rs 66,244 for the deluxe variant. Though on-road price include registration and road tax, it does not include Accessories, Extended warranty, AMC, etc.
Similarly, ex-showroom price of Honda Activa 125 in Mumbai stands at Rs 56,607 (Rs 62,276 on-road) and Rs 62,588 (Rs 68,742 on-road), while in Delhi, price stands at Rs 52,447 (Rs 57,531 on-road) and Rs 58,156 (Rs 63,645 on-road). Honda Activa 125 will compete with other 125 cc scooters like, Suzuki twins- Access and Swish, and Mahindra Duro. It is available in four colour options – Midnight Blue Metallic, Sword Silver Metallic, Black and Pearl Sunbeam White.
Priced aggressively, Honda Activa 125 will help Honda to improve their sales in an even more aggressive manner. Just last month, Activa outsold Hero’s Splendor, which has been India’s best selling two wheeler for years together. And, now with Activa 125, Honda can only hope for improving their market share.
