Honda Cars India has two manufacturing facilities in Tapukara, Rajasthan and Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Production at both these plants had come to a halt in March 2020 when the lockdown was announced. Along with opening of dealerships, Honda Cars India has now resumed production activity at its Tapukara Plant while they await approvals to restart the Noida plant. Greater Noida is a hotspot for the coronavirus and hence the company has not received permissions to restart the plant from the Uttar Pradesh Government.
