Honda Amaze diesel mileage at 23 kmpl: Bookings open at Crystal Honda Pune for Rs 10k
Honda Amaze, the first car to feature a diesel heart from the Japanese car maker in India, is set for a launch in the coming weeks. Based on the Brio hatch, Amaze will feature 1.5L diesel engine and a 1.2L petrol option.
Speaking to Crystal Honda dealer in Pune, we managed to get the following details; the diesel powered Amaze will deliver a mileage of 23 kmpl. It will have ground clearance of 165 mm, turning radius of 4.6m, power output of the 1.5L mill expected to be in the 85-90 bhp. The diesel powered Amaze will not feature Automatic Transmission, but the petrol Amaze will have the option.
Honda India will launch the Amaze with five color options, black, silver, white, blue, and azure grey. On the outside, Amaze will adorn a chrome grille in the front and a chrome garnish at the rear. Once inside the Amaze, you will notice that the dash is the same as that of Brio. You will also see the dual airbags, AC, ORVMs with integrated blinkers, 14″ alloys with 8-spoke, 400 ltr boot.
The dealer said that the car will be launched in April 2013, and subsequently the deliveries will commence. He said nothing on the price of the car, but added that bookings are now open. On paying INR 10,000, you will be put in queue to buy the Honda Amaze.
