Honda Brio sedan variant expected to arrive next year (Photos)

Honda Brio small car demand is on the rise ever since it was launched in October 2011. This small hatchback is soon to have a larger and more powerful sibling in the form of a Brio Sedan. Honda is planning on targeting first time buyers with this new offering and they are specially confident of their success due to the fact that the new sedan will be priced lower than Honda City sedan.

This is not the first time that an auto company is bringing out a sedan version of a hatchback. Maruti Suzuki brought out Swift and Swift Dzire while Tata Motors introduced Indica and Indigo in hatchback and sedan versions. Volkswagen too successfully launched both Polo and Vento while Skoda Auto had their own versions of Fabia and Rapid.

Honda Brio sedan will be soon launched in Thailand markets while it will be introduced in India just in time for the festive season or by next year. The most important factor which will contribute to the Brio sedan success will be price. If the company can keep it well within budget or not is to be seen. Once launched, Honda Brio sedan just might be the cheapest sedan in India.
