As photograph on company site suggests this sedan will be based on a 3.6 meter long wheelbase keeping it well within the 4 meter mark to take advantage of tax cuts. It is also rumored that the 1.2 liter i-VTEC petrol engine currently seen on the Honda Jazz is likely to make its way into this new sedan, though a turbo diesel engine is also expected which will make it most beneficial especially in markets like India.
This 1.2 liter four cylinder petrol engine develops 88 hp and 109 Nm torque however, specifications of its diesel engine are yet elusive. New tail lamps, a boot of 300 to 350 liter capacity, a generic design with upward sweeping lines are part of the Brio Sedan make up, which once launched is likely to compete with Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Indigo eCS and the Verito.
