Honda Cars India 47.21% sales growth for 2013, City launch 7th Jan

A lot can change in a year and that’s evident from their December sales vehicle portfolio. Having retired a number of cars from their India offering has in a big way given HCIL a new lease of life allowing them to concentrate on a winning sedan keeping pace with shifting buyer preferences by introducing a much needed diesel car for India.

Honda City sales are logically stopped as new City goes on sale following launch on January 7, 2014. The diesel sedan gets power from a 1.5 liter i-DTEC engine that also powers Amaze. A 1.5 liter i-VTEC 4 cylinder engine continues to power its petrol sedan with fuel economy at 18 kmpl.
