Honda Cars India Ltd 16% sales growth with 5,508 cars sold in September 2012
Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL), have posted a 16% increase in sales during September 2012 as compared to sale in the same month last year….
The Japanese automobile manufacturers Honda wholly owned by their Indian subsidiary Honda Cars India Limited have announced price increases which came into effect from October 1, 2012 onwards. Price increases will be seen across Brio, Jazz and City variants ranging from 0.2% to 2.6%.
The company has taken this decision to hike prices following rising input costs and various other inflationary pressures along with higher freight charges following increased diesel prices. HCIL now joins other auto manufacturers in the country who are counting on the auspicious months of October and November to take sales to a new pitch and bring the year to a momentous close.

Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL), leading manufacturer of premium cars in India, sold 5,508 units during September 2012 as against 4,758 units during the same period last year reporting an increase of 16%
The company sold 35,440 units during April – September 2012 as compared to 24,191 units in the corresponding period last year recording a growth of 47%.
