Honda first launched Dream Yuga in 2012. In April 2013, Honda unveiled the 110cc DREAM NEO. It’s most affordable motorcycle in India, CD 110 Dream was launcehd most recently. In celebrating teh landmark, honda has introduced its ‘One million dream celebration’ limited period offer so customers can avail free insurance and attractive finance scheme of up to 100% loan to value (valid only on Dream Yuga and Dream Neo for a limited period till 31st August 2014).
For July 2014, HMSI total sales stood at 381,441 units to report 28% overall growth (YoY). Honda strengthened its automatic scooter segment lead with 223, 665 units sold. Honda’s market share in the domestic market stood at 28% while Dom+Exp market share is 25%. New CB Shine 2014 edition was introduced with 2 new colours. HMSI also embarked on new rural retail finance tie-ups (Sarv Haryana Gramin Bank and Uttarakhand Gramin Bank) to cater to demand in rural markets.
