Honda India sold 4,242 cars in December 2012
Currently, Honda Cars India is working on developing diesel engines for its vehicles which will help it do better in Indian markets. The company will be launching its Honda Brio diesel sedan variant named Amaze for Indian markets in the first half of 2013, a move which it hope will help it consolidate its presence in the Indian car market.
It has put together a portfolio which will allow for the company to align its successes with needs of its customers and thereby cater effectively for the needs of its customers. Localization is at the top priority as the company wants to exhibit competitive market pricing for its models that have been designed keeping in mind needs of Indian customers. Keeping this in mind it will be increasing capacity at its Greater Noida facility which will help to cater to the demand when it finally arrives.
