2014 Honda Jazz gets Modulo and Mugen kits in Malaysia
2014 Honda Jazz has been officially launched in Malaysia today. Being locally assembled at the company’s No. 2 Line at Pegoh plant in Melaka, the 2014 Honda Jazz is being offered in three variants S, E and V (top). Apart from this, it can also be ordered with new Modulo and Mugen body kits.
Customising 2014 Honda Jazz with Modulo accessories is easier as Modulo kit is a bolt on kit unlike the Mugen which actually replaces major exteriors such as the entire front bumper. Modulo Package which includes body kit and sports pedals is priced at RM 2,650 (INR 49,934) while Utility Package which includes foot lights, cargo tray, trunk organizer and side step illumination is priced at RM 1,250 (INR 23,554).
Mugen Package is being offered to include body kit, tailgate spoiler and Mugen badge all at a price of RM 4,900 (INR 93,282). Jazz Modulo Aerokit gives 2014 Honda Jazz a bolder and more aggressive stance while all accessories are genuine Honda accessories. Underspoiler accessories in the front give the Jazz aerodynamic performance while side under spoilers adds to its stylish design. Rear under spoilers adds an illusion of length to the new Jazz while door visor goes a long way to reduce wind noise.
Engine is in the form of 1.5l iVTEC generating 120 PS power and CVT transmission, claiming mileage of 17.81 kmpl. The three variants of Honda Jazz are otherwise priced at RM, 72,800 (Rs 13.71 lakhs) for the S variant, RM79,800 (Rs 15.03 lakhs) for the E variant and RM 87,800 (Rs 16.54 lakhs) for the top end V variant. These are on-road prices inclusive of insurance.
In new and exciting exterior colours such as Tinted Silver, Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic, Tafetta White, Crystal Black Pearl and Modern Steel Metallic the 2014 Honda Jazz comes in with 5 year warranty with unlimited mileage, service interval of 10,000 kms and 6 free services alternating with paid service upto 100,000 kms.
