Honda Mobilio 7 seater launch date: Delhi 23rd, Mumbai 24th

Pegged as one of the most buzzing cars in the industry today, India awaits the Honda Mobilio MPV that promises to come in with affordable pricing, best in segment mileage and yet unsurpassed host of safety features. Honda will launch Mobilio in Delhi on 23rd, and in Mumbai on 24th.

The new Honda Mobilio will be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine will include 1.5 liter four cylinder i-VTEC producing 119 PS and 145 Nm torque mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. Its diesel engine is a 1.5 liter four cylinder i-DTEC capable of 100 PS power and 200 Nm torque. ARAI pegs fuel efficiency at 17.3 kmpl for the petrol variant while Honda Mobilio diesel variant claims mileage of 24.2kmpl which is perhaps highest in its segment.

Competing with Maruti Ertiga, Toyota Innova, Nissan Evalia and Chevrolet Enjoy, the new Mobilio MPV could come in at a starting price of around INR 6.5 lakhs, ex-showroom. It will measure 4,386mm in length and sit on a wheelbase of 2,650mm thus contributing to both added interior space while with 60:40 split third row seating, luggage space will also be more than Ertiga.

Interiors boast of dual tone colour scheme, while features will include electric power steering with mounted audio controls, state of the art AC unit with roof vents in second row. Infotainment comes in the form of a similar unit which is seen in Amaze and Brio, with USB, AUX-In connectivity and Bluetooth.

The soon to be launched Honda Mobilio with its strengthened body to avoid any serious impact to passengers will have anti lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution, SRS airbags, central locking, child safety lock, engine immobilizer, keyless entry and wave key function.
