Honda Mobilio MPV reaches malls across India

India today reports 15 car owners for every 1000 people. While that number is small, it still marks remarkable improvement and growth for Indian car buyers.  A few years earlier, footfalls at dealerships were hard to come by, but all that has changed with a younger India that has jobs. In targeting them, manufacturers have stepped out of showrooms and into venues with high footfalls. 

Honda Mobilio IndiaEarly last year, Ford took its then yet to be launched EcoSport to malls pan India, ensuing maximum exposure for a new segment. Honda Car India is¬†going the same way in introducing its all new stylish 7 seater mid-size Honda Mobilio at the¬†nearest mall in your city. In fact, Mobilio MPV’s have now been arriving at select Honda dealerships too in preparation of launch. Honda is¬†excited about entering the MPV segment in India and¬†hopeful that consumers here will accept the new vehicle type in a positive manner. Beginning this weekend, Mall displays across India are scheduled until the last weekend of August 2014.

In catering to growing new Honda City sales and positive Amaze sales, the automaker has incresaed production. With its Tapukara plant functional, Honda is also making way for new jobs at its plant. Mobilio MPV will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options, and the new gen Jazz premium hatchback too will be back in the current financial year. Honda hopes to to fuel Indian MPV segment growth with Mobilio and is targeting sedan and SUV buyers too.

Mobilio enjoys a strong market share in Indonesia reporting 28.6% sales growth from April to May 2014. Honda Mobilio RS launch is scheduled for 19th June in Indonesia and will take on the Maruti Ertiga Sporty here.
