Honda Mobilio RS variant will be seen in a 2+3+2 seating capacity with ground clearance of 185 mm. The RS variant of Mobilio will be seen with roof spoiler, RS badge, redesigned headlights with LED elements and twin slat chrome grille. It will also receive a sportier rear bumper design, side skirts and an aggressive front bumper while it will sit on new alloy wheels.

Where pricing is concerned, Honda will be pricing the Mobilio manual variant at 214 million Rupiah (INR 11.44 lakhs) and the automatic variant at 225 million (INR 12.03 lakhs). The top end Mobilio RS variant will be priced at a premium of 27 million Rupiah (INR 1.44 lakhs) over the top end variant. Once launched in Indonesia, it will compete with Maruti Ertiga Sporty. Below are the price of existing offerings of Mobilio in Indoneisa.

A diesel engine in the form of 1.5 liter i-DTEC will also be on offer, but only for India. This one will deliver 98.6 bhp peak power at 3,600 rpm and 200 Nm torque at 1,750 rpm. The diesel engine will be more fuel efficient and is expected to deliver mileage of 20+ kmpl.

As far as India launch of Mobilio RS is concerned, no such announcement has been made yet. In a mail to Rush Lane, Honda Cars India have confirmed that they are already studying the Indian auto industry for the launch of such variants, including the Modulo kits. So an India launch for a sporty looking Mobilio cannot be ruled out for the future.

Scheduled to be launched in July, Honda India has started mailing promotional mailers of Mobilio to prospective customers and existing owners of Honda cars in India. Though no word is out on official price of Mobilio, you can expect it to be in the same range as that of Maruti Ertiga in India – Rs 6.5 – 10 lakhs.
