How women see you and your car, and vice versa
Men please note that the way to a woman’s heart is not through a fast paced super car but through an eco friendly model. Contrary to the belief that a fast paced and expensive car would get a man all the attention he needed, this is not entirely true as per a recent survey.
While 48% of men surveyed surveyed felt that expensive cars maketh a man, it was actually men in eco-minded hybrid or full-electric cars that found favor with women. It was also noticed that black colour cars were deemed more attractive than white by women. Men who drove common saloons were perceived as hard working and safe on the road.
When it came to men judging women based on cars they drive, 4×4′s don’t work too well for women as men find them particularly unattractive to men, who regard them as arrogant, rude and self centred.
Phill Jones, of Motors.co.uk, said: “Our survey provided an interesting snapshot into how people perceive car drivers, with the bad boy sports car stereotype still holding true. The disparity between men and women suggests that the yummy mummy ‘Chelsea tractor’ stereotype might be having a similar effect on men as sports cars appear to be having on women. While there is no doubt that owning the Batmobile or a Back to the Future Delorean would be a conversation starter if you’re looking to meet new people, in reality the car we buy is likely to make us feel more confident rather than make other people find us more attractive.”
