It was in November 2011 that Swiss watchmakers, Hublot entered into a partnership with Ferrari to be their official timekeepers. Ferrari celebrates 50th anniversary of their legendary sports car, 250 GTO this year, they are also exclusive as only 36 were ever made. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Ferrari 250 GTO, Hublot has created a Ferrari 250 GTO Classic Fusion Watch for the occasion.

Existing owners of the GTO, 24 of them had gathered along with their cars on July 3rd where the Hublot Ferrari 250 GTO watch was presented in front of a total of 150 guests at Abbaye de Hautvillers, home to the famous Dom Pérignon Champagne. Encased in 45mm titanium enclosure, this watch is as exclusive as the car it honors. Hublot Ferrari 250 GTO watch is only for those who own a 250 GTO.

Ferrari GTO also holds the record for being the most expensive car to be sold at an auction when Craig McCaw, an American billionaire bought one for $35 million. Hublot Ferrari 250 GTO Classic Fusion Watch is fitter with skeletonized Tourbillion movement. At the 12′o clock position you will notice a barrel drum which represents the wheel rim of a Ferrari 250 GTO. Other references include usage of the same barenia calfskin has been made to make the watch strap. Each watch also bears the chassis number of their respective Ferrari 250 GTO’s.
