Second generation Hyundai i20 is available in 5 variants; both petrol and diesel engines are offered in each. They are Era, Magna, Sportz, Sportz (O) and Asta.
Hyundai Elite i20 Era is the lowest variant with minimal features. It has black front grille without chrome borderline. It gets body coloured bumpers, B-pillar black out treatment and C-pillar black finish. Dual tone rear bumper is on cards. Steel wheels get full wheel covers and roof gets radio antenna.
Dual tone (beige and black) interior colour scheme, front & rear door map pockets, front passenger seat back pocket, metal finish inside door handles and metal finish parking lever tip. Instrument cluster in Elite i20 Era gets blue backlight illumination, dual trip meter, tachometer, digital clock, gear shift indicator, low fuel warning, door & tailgate ajar indicator, Immobilizer warning and driver seatbelt reminder.
Front seats of Hyundai Elite i20 Era get adjustable headrest while rear gets integrated setup. Power winnows are available only on front, with time lag support. Power window switches are illuminated. Air conditioning is manual. Rest of features include motor driven Electric Power Steering (EPS), clutch footrest (dead pedal), passenger vanity mirror, ticket holder, power outlet, theatre dimming central room lamp, intermittent variable front wiper, lane change indicator, internally adjustable ORVM and battery saver.
Safety features in Elite i20 Era include only central locking (doors & tailgate), smart pedal, Day / Night Inside Rear View Mirror (IRVM), Immobilizer and dual horn.
Hyundai Elite i20 Magna variant gets all basic amenities seen in Era, plus features like chrome bordering on front grille, headlamp escort function, keyless entry, foldable key, body coloured ORVM & door handles, rear parcel tray, sunglass holder and front centre console armrest with storage.
2-DIN integrated audio system with MP3 and radio (no CD player) is offered in Elite i20 Magna with 1 GB internal memory, front and rear speakers, tweeters, AUX-in & USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity and audio & bluetooth controls on steering wheel.
Magna variant of second generation i20 gets rear power windows, rear AC vents, glovebox cooling, front map lamp and electrically adjustable ORVM.
Hyundai Elite i20 Sportz variant gets vital safety features like Airbag (driver side only), Antilock Braking System (ABS), Parking Assist features like reverse parking sensors and rear camera with Electro Chromic Mirror (ECM) display, impact sensing door unlock, rear defogger with timer and seatbelt pretensioners – driver & passenger.
Further, Sportz variant is distinguished from lower Era and Magna trims with features like turn indicators integrated to ORVM, black waistline moulding (exterior side profile), leather wrapped steering wheel, leather gear knob, height adjustable driver seat, CD player on audio system, auto up/down driver side power window, pinch guard (driver side only), fully automatic air conditioning with cluster ionizer, tilt & telescopic steering, luggage lamp and electrical folding ORVM with auto fold facility.
Hyundai Elite i20 Sportz (O) option variant gets smart key, push button for start/stop, clutch lock, chrome outside door handles and diamond cut alloy wheels (4 nos.).
Hyundai Elite i20 Asta top end variant comes with front passenger airbag, automatic headlamps, advanced supervision cluster with steering position reminder, service reminder, parking sensor display, auto unlock function, IC Light Adjustment (Rheostat), 60:40 rear split seat, adjustable rear seat headrest, rear wiper & washer and second power outlet.
