Hyundai Motor India Ltd., start the neww year with the launch of three new Eon small car variants, D-Lite +, Era +, and Magna +. With a below Rs 3 lakh price tag at D-Lite + is fitted with air-conditioning, gift shift indicator, body coloured bumpers, and power steering.The D-Lite +, Era +, and Magna + variants also come with LPG options. The three LPG Eon hatchbacks will bear a price tag which is about Rs. 27,000 higher. Managing Director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., Mr H W Park, had this to say. "The D-Lite plus offers a host of features all for less than Rs 3 lakh. Similarly, Era+ and Magna + also offer enhanced features. The idea behind the new variants is to offer extra value to our customers."
The Hyundai Eon Era + will also comes with front power windows and central locking, and bears a price tag of Rs 3.12 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi ). The Magna+ is fitted with a 2-Din audio system with USB, Aux and more and comes for a price of Rs 3.42 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Hyundai LPG variants are part of Hyundai's Blue Drive (eco-friendly) range and come with factory-fitted separate petrol (32 litres) and LPG (34 litres) tanks. Aimed at enhanced safety for customers, the vehicles come with a two-year warranty. A'Toroidal' tank ensures larger boot space than conventional LPG-fitted cars, which makes storage cumbersome. The Hyundai Eon hatchback would clock 1,200+ kms on a full tank of LPG and petrol.
