There will be no discount offers on the Venue, Verna, Creta and Kona
Hyundai India is in post lockdown mode and intent to stir up sales to make good lower sales noted over the past several months even prior to the coronavirus pandemic hitting the country. This month, car makers are expecting sales to increase, and to attract more buyers, some have announced new discount schemes.
Hyundai India is offering benefits and discounts ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 1.05 lakh on select models during the month of June 2020. These discounts follow up from similar benefits and exchange offers presented in May 2020, when the company noted de-growth of 84 percent, while sales in April were down to zero due to the coronavirus effect.
For the month of June, models that come with special cash discounts and exchange offers include all variants of the Santro, Grand i10, Hyundai Elantra, Elite i20 and Grand i10 Nios. The Santro Era BS6 is presented at a cash discount of Rs.10,000 along with Rs.15,000 exchange offer and Rs.5,000 corporate discount taking total benefits to Rs.30,000.

Discounts on the Santro Magna, Sportz and Asta variants go up to Rs.40,000 which includes Rs.20,000 cash discount, Rs.15,000 exchange benefit and Rs.5,000 corporate discount. The company is also offering the Santro with 3 years/unlimited km extended warranty and 3 year road side assistance (RSA). The Santro is priced between Rs.4.57-6.26 lakhs.
The BS6 compliant Hyundai Grand i10 can be had at benefits upto Rs.60,000 through the month of June. This includes Rs.40,000 cash discount, Rs.15,000 exchange bonus and Rs.5,000 corporate benefit while the offers total Rs.25,000 on the Grand i10 NIOS with Rs.10,000 cash discount and Rs.10,000 exchange bonus besides the Rs.5,000 corporate offer. The Grand i10 Nios is also offered with Hyundai’s 3 year/unlimited km extended warranty besides the 3 year RSA.
Buyers of the Hyundai Elite i20 BS6 can avail discounts upto Rs.35,000. This includes Rs.15,000 cash discount, Rs.15,000 exchange benefit and Rs.5,000 corporate discount. The third-gen Elite i20 has been spied testing and is slated for launch sometime just ahead of the festive season.
The maximum discount offer is on the Hyundai Elantra which goes upto Rs.1 lakh. This includes Rs.40,000 cash discount, Rs.40,000 exchange bonus and Rs.20,000 corporate discount. The next-gen Hyundai Elantra has also been unveiled and poised for launch sometime in 2021.
Hyundai is not offering any discounts or exchange benefits on the Aura. But there are select dealers who are offering discounts / special offers. On the Venue, Verna, Creta and Kona there is no official discount. However, the company has introduced special EMI Assurance Program for buyers seeking a new Hyundai car.
