Hyundai Grand i10 has been a success right from the word ‘Go’. It received the country’s highest automotive award as the Most Awarded Car 2013 and was named Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) in 2014.
On the list of top 10 most selling cars in the country, a feat achieved in just two months of launch, the Grand i10 is also the most popular family car, regaled for its features, on board technology, comfort and performance. Hyundai Grand i10 is exported from the company’s Chennai plant to Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay, Indonesia, Nepal and South Africa.
Another volume earner, the Hyundai i20 is also ready to enter its second generation and is in final stages of testing. This premium hatchback is slated to have a festive launch sometime in September-October 2014.
Propelled by success of Grand i10 petrol and diesel versions, Hyundai India has also introduced LPG version if Grand i10. Offered as on date only in the Magna trim, Grand i10 LPG continues with all features seen on the Magna regular variant but the 1.2 liter petrol engine has been replaced by a smaller 1.0 liter petrol unit from a regular i10 This engine is capable of 68 bhp power and 94 Nm torque while it is priced at INR 4.96 lakhs.
