Hyundai Grand i10 sales cross 33,000 units in 3 months

Hyundai Grand i10, the latest hatchback from the stables of Hyundai Motor India Limited has drawn customers to its fold as bees to honey. The company has registered sales of over 33,000 units in the past three months, since it’s launch in September 2013. This has caused the model to enter the esteemed list of top 5 best selling cars in the country.

Hyundai Motors India Ltd has received overwhelming response for  Hyundai Grand i10 especially from  younger generation of buyers in Metros and Tier II cities. The company has recorded over 1,24,000 footfalls and 1,65,000 test drives in the past three months, while more appreciation was shown towards Hyundai Grand i10 U2 CRDi diesel engine which displays outstanding performance and fuel efficiency of 24 kmpl.

It is enhanced quality, never before seen features and more space found in Grand i10 that attracts customers, even as the company is boosting production so as to cater to this increased demand and ensure shorter waiting periods.

Grand i10 is also being offered with a petrol engine in the form of an all aluminum 1.2 liter Kappa with Dual VTVT presenting best in class mileage of 18.9 kmpl. Technology is in a class of its own, with diamond cut alloy wheels, 2 tone design with smart key and push button start/stop function, Bluetooth connectivity, 2 DIN MP3 audio with 1GB memory and a multifunction steering wheel.

Price starts from Rs 4.29 lakh for the base petrol. Hyundai India has also recently launched the Grand i10 Automatic which comes in a price range from INR 5.64 lakhs to INR 5.92 lakhs for Sportz and Asta variants respectively.
