Those who are keen to buy the newest offering of an already successful platform i10 are pre-booking. Of course, the booking now is been made for i10, and will be automatically transferred to a Grand i10 variant of the customer’s choice after launch on 3rd September.
To be positioned between the i10 and i20, the new hatchback will compete with Maruti Ritz, Nissan Micra and Ford Figo. It will make its way in with a choice of petrol and diesel engines at an expected price of between Rs 4.5 lakhs – 6.5 lakhs. Where its petrol engine is concerned one can expect to see a 1.2 liter Kappa 2 engine which is also in attendance in both i10 and i20, while its diesel engine will be a 1.1 liter three cylinder diesel engine from the i20 1.4 liter CRDi.
