Specially made for China, Hyundai ix25 made its global premiere at the Beijing Motor Show earlier this year. Offered in a choice of two petrol engine options, in China the new ix25, called as the Modern ix25. It will compete with other compact SUVs from Peugeot, Cheverolet, Buick, and Ford.
Dimensions of the new ix25 stand at 4270 mm long, 1780 mm wide, 1630 mm tall and a wheelbase of 2590 mm. Two engine options are on offer – 1.6l and 2.0l, both are 4 cyl naturally aspirated engines. The 1.6l generates 126 hp at 6300 rpm and a peak torque of 156 Nm at 4850 Nm, while the 2.0l engine generates 160 hp power at 6500 rpm and 194 Nm torque at 4800 rpm. As you can see in the list above, new Hyundai ix25 will be available in a choice of manual and automatic transmission, as well as 2WD and 4WD options.
Design is inspired by Hyundai’s new Fluidic 2.0 language, featuring trademark wide grille, dynamic look. Targeting young buyers, in the age group of 25-35 years, ix25 features LED DRLs, panaromic sunroof, LED DRLs, 17 inch double spoke alloys, McPherson independent front suspension, torsion beam rear suspension (4WD version has multi-link independent rear suspension).
Inside the new ix25, you get black interiors, leather seats, auto climate control, 7 inch LCD touch screen, cruise control, electric ORVMs, steering mounted controls, electrically adjustable seats, start stop button, seat ventilation.
