Hyundai promoting No-Smoking in car? Replaces cigarette lighter with USB port
Smoking is soon going out of fashion and in its stead, smartphones and MP3 players are coming more into vogue. This was found according to a recent study conducted by Korean auto giants, Hyundai, due to which they are taking immediate steps to replace cigarette lighters in their models and offer USB Ports instead.
With this decision taken, Hyundai is losing no time in replacing the gadget which would cause more harm than good to both driver and occupants, and all new Hyundai cars built from October 1st 2013 will see cigarette lighter sockets being replaced with USB power points in cars made for the Korean market, reports Financial Times. This might spread across the globe, and soon all Hyundai cars might not feature cigarette lighter.
