iOS smartphone and tablet users across the globe will be able to take part in a contest being organized by Hyundai. On from November 19 to 25, 2012, results will be announced and prizes will include a free trip to Hyundai’s main plants in Korea and to the Detroit Auto Show in January 2013.
Asphalt 7: Heat is one of the most popular mobile racing games and it is this competition that Hyundai is embarking on to expand and diversify its marketing channels to raise brand awareness. It is open to users of iOS smartphone and tablets who will have to download Gameloft’s Asphalt 7 from the Apple App Store. This will be free of cost which will then enable participants to take part in the competition. Contestants will have to race in Hyundai’s Veloster Turbo on a selected track and scores will be automatically recorded so as to keep accurate tabs on the winner. Those who have played before will only need to update their app to be able to participate in the competition.
Gameloft digital and social games released the latest series of Asphalt in June this year. Since its inception in 2004, this dynamic game with high quality graphics has been downloaded over 50 million times. In August, Hyundai added Veloster Turbo and Genesis Coupe to Asphalt lineup of 60 high performance cars which has increased in popularity.
