Hyundai Verna facelift India launch by 2014 end to rival Honda City

South Korean car maker, Hyundai revealed Verna facelift in Russia last month as Solaris. Featuring an even more fluidic design, India launch of Verna facelift will take place later this year, after the launch of new i20.

Hyundai Verna faceliftOnce the leader in its segment, Hyundai Verna was toppled from the top spot once Honda launched new City earlier this year. In the first six months this year, Honda City sales have crossed 45,600 units, while that of Verna have touched 21,000 units. Considering that the demand in this segment is on the rise, Hyundai would surely be tempted to launch a facelift as soon as possible.
