India 4th Generation Honda CR-V launch has got past 0 units sold. For January 2012, 30 units of he Honda Cr-V were sold and this can be attributed to the new model year vehicle, upgrades, changes, and of course competitive price.
Honda CR-V will have two engine variants. One will be powered by a 2 liter and the other by a 2.4 liter petrol engine which will be priced from INR 19.95 lakhs and 23.85 lakhs – ex-showroom Delhi. The new pricing for the 2 liter SOHC i-VTEC engine with 2WD manual transmission variant which was INR 22.65 lakhs will now be available for INR 19.95 lakhs. The 2.4 automatic variant which came in earlier at a price of INR 24.9 lakhs will now be offered for INR 22.4 lakhs. Honda CR-V displays a high level of fuel efficiency which is what will also appeal to Indian buyers especially considering another impending petrol price hike. It also comes in with a sparkling new interior design and driving comforts.
There will also be improvement in engine output with the 2.0 liter engine now offering a max output of 156 PS and 190 Nm while the 2.4 liter engine will display 190 PS and 226 Nm torque with 13.7 kmpl and 12 kmpl fuel efficiency. The All New CR-V will be available in 5 colors which include Carnelian Red Pearl, Sparkling Brown Metallic, Urban Titanium Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic and Taffeta White.
