India Auto Expo Day 1 sees 60,000 visitor footfalls as it open to public
The 12th edition of Auto Expo-The Motor Show 2014 opened to public today, and Day 1 saw more than 60,000 registered visitors. Over 35,000 tickets were sold through India Auto Expo Day 1 with a continuous flow of visitors to check the latest new car launches and refreshed model year vehicles being offered in the Indian automobile market.
Apart from cars, visitors participated in engaging and entertaining activities.Test drives at the electric and hybrid vehicles at the Electric Mobility Pavilion were popular. Safe driving programmes at the stalls educated visitors on techniques and practices for safe driving.
Vintage car pavilion with cars from the Golden era are a huge attraction. Day 4 and Day 5 will witness more such activities.
