India Jaguar F-TYPE launch July 8 2013, Tata Motors vehicle upgrades galore
The Tata Motors offensive in India is hard to miss, but whether or not they achieve the sales volume growth intended is left to be seen. Not just it’s Indian arm, but Jaguar and Land Rover footprint in India too is increasing via local production, and launch of new cars.
While Jaguar brings to India an all new car, Tata Motors has opted against such a move just as yet. And went on to offer a host of cars yesterday, with none being new. Upgrades, model year vehicles, special kits, and CNG variants made up the crux of Tata’s multiple launches this week for India.
Among HORIZONEXT unveilings were new Indigo eCS Petrol CNG, Tata Nano CNG, and Indica CNG. Other vehicles seen were new Indigo eCS, Tata Indica EV2 and V2, Indigo eCS, new Tata Nano and Sumo Gold GX BSIV. Despite the choice being expansive for buyers, question remains when will Tata Motors launch a new vehicle and new engine in India rather than fine tuning engines and offering facelifts.
