Indian moviestar receives Aston Martin worth Rs 2 crores as a wedding gift

An Aston Martin V8 Vantage sports car worth Rs.2 crores was the gift received by Ram Charan Teja from his new in laws and parents of Upasana Kamineni. The groom, son of southern megastar Chiranjeevi was thrilled with his new possession. Even though the bridegroom had expressed his desire not to accept expensive gifts, this was one gift no one could refuse. Teja, also an actor is a collector of sports cars and was ecstatic on receiving this special high performance vehicle that is hand built from Aston Martin.

A vehicle of this sort was earlier seen in the movie Casino Royale driven by the 007 star James Bond. It is a two seater model which has been upgraded and refined for the current year. Prices in the US are at a starting price of $118,370 for the Vantage Coupe while that of the Roadster commence from $132,870. The Coupe model is seen with a host of improvements which include revised 4.7 liter 420 bhp entry level engine. It retains its six speed manual transmission while six speed Sportshift manual transmission is replaced with a seven speed Sportshift.
