More and more Indian women are entering into an arena which till date was dominated by men. These women are now forming female only clubs and not only going out on adventures but also using the motorbike for everyday commuting. With each passing day, one sees more and more adventurous women who are confident astride a motorbike.

India is one country where lady riders on scooters are a common sight but seeing them on motorbikes is something that still turns a head of many a male counterpart who wonders at ladies kick starting bikes or putting them on main stands. The club is an all female Royal Enfield riders club in Mumbai which is known as the ‘Regals’. Here an increasing number of women riders have joined up.

Another such club is ‘Hop on Gurls’ club in Bangalore which is meant for female Bullet riders. The Association of female Bikers in India – ‘Bikerni’ which came into existence 18 months ago and already has over 100 active members. Weekend trips, out station holidays and other forms of adventure is what these lady riders and members of these clubs participate in on a regular basis.
