Dacia makes it foray in the Irish automobile market with the launch of the new Dacia Duster SUV for a price of €14,990. The Dacia will not be available in showrooms till January 2013, but there are a large number of individuals who are flocking to test drive this new model. During this period the Duster can be test driven and ordered so as to lower the length of the waiting list upon launch and availability.

Dacia which is being marketed in Ireland by Renault hopes that customers will embrace the company ad their vehicles. Dacia says that there is no other car model in the country which can provide the same package for the same price. Dacia Duster SUV has been designed for those who are looking to buy a family crossover. The duster will be available in 4×2 and 4×4 wheel drive styles. It will be powered by a 1.5l dCi 110 bhp diesel engine. The Dacia Sandero hatch will be launched in the Irish auto market in January 2013. Sandero crossover and Grand Sandero will be launched later in the year.

DaciaPlan by the company allows buyers to pay a 10% down payment and €149 each month for 36 months. Once the agreement ends, vehicle owners have 3 choices, pay the balance and keep the car, hand back the car, or change to a new Dacia. In India, Renault Duster competes with Tata Safari and Mahindra Scorpio, and was launched in the 1st week of July 2012 for a start price of Rs 7.19 lakhs onwards. The highest price tag is on the RxZ diesel optional pack, which stands at 11.29 lakh.
